Profile:
Food Network star Rachael Ray premiered her daytime syndicated show in September 2006 and the program became an instant hit. The show bills itself as “an exciting and unpredictable hour of fun that celebrates the can-do spirit in every person and gives viewers the essentials for whole-hearted living.” Of course, cooking is a big part of the program, but guests and topics are quite varied and range from serious (protecting yourself during a natural disaster) to fun (throwing the ultimate Oscar party) and everything in between.
